Responsible for data quality during user migration
Mastercard
Data Analyst
Since August 2024, I was involved in a large-scale migration project at Mastercard, initially working as a data analyst responsible for ensuring accurate user migration from a legacy system to a new platform by developing Python- and Excel-based solutions for large-scale data processing, validation, and access management. From May 2025, I joined a transition-phase team with deep system expertise, providing second-line support and resolving a significant backlog of access issues for users affected by the migration, where my understanding of both technical systems and business processes made me a key resource. During this phase, I also took on an informal leadership role by training customer support staff and onboarding new team members, contributing significantly to project stabilization and progress.
Create a weather API
Omegapoint Norge
Backend developer
In this project, I developed an API using Kotlin and Spring Boot to integrate with MET Norway’s Weather API (LocationForecast 2.0). The work included enabling the retrieval and processing of localized weather forecasts, as well as implementing these in the client application.
Creating a customer portal for changing KYC information
Arctic Securities
Backend developer
The project consisted of implementation of a customer portal which shall be used for viewing and updating the customer information. According to the laws of AML (anti-money laundering), the customer information within a brokerage firm should always be up-to-date, that is "know your customer" (KYC). In this regard, it should also be possible for an administrator to accept new changes edited by the customer. The project therefore constituted two parts, namely a system for the customers as well as a system for administrators.
Integration and automation of PDF signing
Noah AS
Software developer
Further develop and complete a Java application to fetch and digitally sign PDF-documents stored in a database. This application will replace a cumbersome process where documents must be manually written out, signed, stamped and scanned. The Java application has been built as a CLI and is planned to run as an automatic background job using Windows Task Scheduler. The database system used is SSMS.
Creating a personal developer portfolio
Frontend developer
I developed a web site for hosting my own personal developer portfolio. Technologies used to accomplish this is NextJS with Tailwind CSS and Vercel for deployment. The web site does not require a backend, and blog posts and projects are set up to be added via writing a markdown script, and then adding it to specific root folder in Git repository.
Internal booking system
Omegapoint Norway
Backend developer
Collaboration with fellow colleagues to build a web application for booking internal services at Omegapoint Norway. I built the backend for the web application. The technologies used are Postgres with Prisma as database migrator and NextJS API Routes.
Secure Cloud
DEFA AS (Research & Development)
Backend developer
Built a proxy/secure cloud solution for activating payment of extra features in-app for end customer of charging station. The payment platform used is called Stripe and the backend has been built up using Java and Gradle, with communication towards an already existing Graphql endpoint, see 'DEFA Power Configuration'.
DEFA Power configuration
DEFA AS (Research & Development)
Backend developer
DEFA Power is an EV charging station which has been designed to be both smart, robust and powerful. A part of this development consists of building a configuration-application that installers/electricians use during installation of the charging station. Thus, it has been developed a backend for this application using NodeJS and GraphQL, as well as PostgreSQL as the database system. Other technologies used are Knex as a database migration tool, as well as Jest as a testing framework.
